JIM BEAM FLOW JAM 2011 - 21 May

After close to 12 hours of action from the best of local flowboarders, high octane BMX riders and sizzling Roxy babes cat walking and entertaining the crowd, the second and final Jim Beam Flow Jam 2011 come to a close at Wave House Sentosa on Saturday 21 May.
 
To honor the FlowBarrel where the local Flow Jam is held this time round, an additional "Expert Strapped" division was included to showcase the sport's more aggressive & acrobatic style of riding. A total of 9 divisions competed with the results below.

Sub prizes were also given for the Best Trick, Best Wipe Out and Rider of the Day.
 
Best Trick : Jeff Ranta (shocking everyone with his rodeo, the wave mentor obviously still have a trick or two up his sleeve! watch and learn boys!)
Best Wipe Out: Zainol Arrifin (while the body is small, his spirit was big! Huge wipe out at the Juniors Division but smiling and shaking off the water as he emerged).
Rider of the Day: Philip Snashall (Philip exemplify sportsmanship in his participation and had fought well against many younger riders in Flow Jam. he scored 100 just being a role model.)
 
Competition Manager Joe Ang have this to say, "The turn up for today's Flow Jam is superb. while its the first competition on the FlowBarrel for many riders, they have done well to set the bar very very high for next year's contenders. And this participation also spells out the potential for many more riders to hop on the Flow Jam wagon where the best in Singapore is determined. I'm already looking forward to how next year's Flow Jam will unfold!"

Presiding as judges and games officials are veteran waterman David Ngiam, veteran rider and educator Sean De Zilva and Wave House Managers Joe Ang and Jeff Ranta.
